We are getting married on June 8th 2024! We have decided to embark on a unique journey of love and service as we begin our married life together. Instead of a traditional honeymoon, we’ve chosen an "Adventure for a Cause" to raise funds and make a meaningful impact. Our mission: to raise $6,000 directly for the Makindu Children's Centre, a vital resource center in rural eastern Kenya.
The Makindu Children's Centre serves as a beacon of hope for hundreds of children in the region. It provides essential services such as food, recreation, bathing, laundry facilities, emotional support, crisis intervention, and the opportunity for children to interact and play with their peers. This safe haven is not just a place of refuge; it's a place where dreams can flourish.
We are paying our own airfare and expenses for the entire trip so that ALL of your donations go directly to support the cause. All donations are tax deductible and receipts will be provided.
