This year is my first as a participant in the Proper Walk to support the Makindu Children’s Program. After hearing about the proper walk from a friend, and fellow 2024 team member, I was thrilled to be invited to join.  

I live in Crozet, Va with my wife, 2 sons, 2 dogs and a friendly turtle.  I have spent over 25 years in healthcare starting my career as a Physical Therapist. Throughout my career, I have worked diligently to help the patients I have cared for directly, and to improve the systems of care.  I now work for ECRI, a global healthcare safety organization and am very proud of the work that we do to improve access and equity to quality care across the world.  While I find this very rewarding, I also greatly appreciate this opportunity to directly impact the children of Makindu with the work we will do, and the fundraising support we provide.  I look forward to contributing to a great group this year and making lasting impacts.
