My family has been connected to the Makindu Children’s Program (
MCP) and the Proper Walk since my dad hiked 170 miles over 10 days, accomplishing his first Proper Walk, in 2006. After hearing his stories and seeing the incredible photos from the now six walks and safaris he has done since, it is a dream come true to finally be going to Kenya to participate in the 20 year anniversary of the first Proper Walk.

My hope is that those of you reading my page are similarly inspired by the MCP and help us continue to support their mission.
